Production technique One of the main tasks for the SinoScan engineers is to ensure the most appropriate production technique is used for each part. This is performed in co-operation with both customers and suppliers. Having an understanding of the relative strengths of all the suppliers within SinoScan’s network the engineers are able to select a supplier for a particular project on the basis of each part’s specific requirements and the supplier’s capabilities. SinoScan encourage ongoing production method improvements within suppliers’ manufacturing systems. Also it ensured that product documentation is of an appropriate quality and sufficient level of detail before it is given to the supplier and support is provided to the supplier on technical issues whenever needed.
